Yay! Its Thursday today, which means it's Friday tomorrow, which means its the WEEKEND! 2 glorious whole days and evenings of doing what I want! Doing what I want right now mainly consists of:
Taking Photographs/editing them/printing them. I'd like to scrapping them at this point, but no matter how good my intentions - I just can't seem to keep up with scrapbooking! I have a massive backlog of photos to edit!
Sewing - I made some some simple bunting last week for my garden - love it! Will deffo be doing more of that!
Painting - the pictures in this post are of my grotty old garden furniture.Most evenings this week I've been painting it white! What a transformation! It looks lovely - so fresh, clean and pretty. I have 2 tables and 8 chairs so it's nice and big, and I plan to make a cushion for each chair in a mix of ginghams, florals, spots and stripes, and matching table clothes and runners and placemates, napkins etc. I also plan to buy some lovely coloured pinic ware to match, jugs, glasses etc.
Seeing my lovely friends - this Saturday afternoon I am off to a bbq with all my buddies, can't wait.
Gardening - watering twice a day in this heat, dead-heading, looking after my glorious plants and veg (photos to come soon, I promise!)
Car-booting! I got some great stuff last Sunday! Mainly vintagey bits for the garden.
My house is still in dire need of a good clean and a good tidy but quite frankly, it's been too darn hot! I like to tell myself I will do it this weekend - but I don't think it will happen! Maybe next week :)

When they promise good weather at the weekend, it's just a MUST that you get out and enjoy it ... everything else can just wait. Have a fun weekend.
