Shopping and Snot and Sun

Today has flown by! Was up early, pottering about in the garden, and then took OH to work - then went into town to buy toiletries and plants and bits from Wilkos, meat from the butchers, fruit, veg, and salad from the market, and also flowers from the market.
I love shopping in town on a Saturday morning. Supermarkets have their place, but I always try to buy the above in town - everything is much better quality (meat), tastier (fruit and veg), and longer lasting (flowers) than the supermarket. Sometimes cheaper, sometimes not - but I don't mind that.
Of course, the downside being you can't get it all under one roof - which means driving about all morning and sore arms from lugging it all about town! I'm seriously seriously seriously considering investing in a granny style shopping trolley on wheels - seriously!
I also went into the Range and spent a bit too much in there but I did get a daylight lamp, which means I can craft all night tonight and try it out :)
I haven't uploaded any photos in ages, and I want to, but it's hot! (I'm being very careful not to say "too" and "hot" in the same sentence - after all winter moaning about the bad weather, I am rejoicing in the sunshine - honest!)
I've been doing lots of work in the garden, and am planning on taking some photos this evening to remember how it looks right now, I may upload those later.
Hayfever is the reason for my snotty nose!
I'm going to go and make some dinner for myself, then drive to my mums to water her plants as she's away, then come home and hopefully have a much more productive evening than I have afternoon - I've just been flopping about not really doing much at all, and god knows the house needs some serious tidying! And I'm sure my ironing pile is breeding!

You made me laugh about your granny trolley .. I'll hold my hand up and admit I bought one not so long ago and it's taken me quite some time to pluck up the courage and actually use it LOL. But I must admit it's rather handy to say the least.

I don't have one..but my guess would be that no-one would even notice your trolley....unless you ram it into their ankles or paintit a violent colour! Go for it!
