Behold! She cleans!

It's 11.30 pm on a Friday night - and I'm cleaning! After work tonight my amazing friend Jayne came round for the second evening this week to help me paint my garden furniture. She really is a little star. We applied the final coat of lovely satinwood in brillaint white, and then I treated us to an Indian, and we settled down to watch New Moon. She left shortly after, and I went to do the dishes... and somehow found the inspiration to keep going and give the kitchen a thorough clean. I'm just wondering if its unreasonable to get the hoover out.... I think it is! That can wait till morning. :)
I'm currently working from 2 macs as I try and transfer my files to my new one. Tomorrow my old G5 goes to its new home. I'm really sad to see her go... she's served me brillaintly over the past 4.5 years, and only gave me cause for concern once when iPhoto got a bit funky on me, and I lost about of 7% of my 2009 photos. Nothing too serious, but could have been a disaster! Luckily new iMac has time machine, which automatically backs up my files!
I never even gave old iMac G5 a name... but I know Nikki will, and she will be well loved in her new home. Goodbye old G5, I'll miss you, together we've had a wonderful time!
By the way, I can't recommend Apple machines enough - you pay a bit more initially, but what you get in software, reliability and performance is worth every penny - honestly. Old G5 still works like a dream, and will be more than adequate for my friend. She just couldn't cope with the amount of images I was putting through her, and because she was a processor, and not intel like Apples from the past 3-4 years, I had reached a point where I could no longer upgrade her to keep up with new developments. If I had bought a windows machine 4.5 years ago, I would likely be well onto my third machine by now... and would have spent far more cash in the long run. Apples just keep on going, and with no pesky problems that windows give.
OK, speel over, LOL.
