This weekend I mainly took photos!

I took a deep breath last week, and put myself out there! It's paid off! But let me start at the beginning... I was noticing that every time I put photos on facebook of my friends and family, I was getting a lot of comments. As I've practised more and more with my photos, I started to think I could do this for other people. THEN I was approached by someone I know vaguely to ask if I would take some photos of her daughter and nephew, for her to give as Xmas gifts. I was chuffed to bits, and agreed. I had a good think, and decided to charge her 20 pounds for the session, with all the images on disk for her to do as she pleased with. She agreed, and I decided to put on my facebook that I was offering photos at a great price, and to contact me if interested. From that, I had one more girl who is a friend of a friend contact me, saying she wanted some her her family. So this Saturday, I arranged both shoots, and breathed a sigh of relief when I saw the beautiful weather. Sunday was spent editing in front of the pc. I'm pretty pleased with myself. I think I did a good job! It's hard for me to say that because I'm very modest (honest!) and my confidence in myself has never been good. But I look at these images and just LOVE them. How can I not? Here are some of my fave shots from the second session. Beautiful family, beautiful children. I loved every second.
