Michelle - I DO take things to heart, and we really shouldn't, we need to toughen up! Sarah, yes, to work I must go if I want to live the lifestyle I have become accustomed to (spending a fortune on papers and ribbons and inks!) It's not the job for me! I know I need to do something about it! The real world sucks! LOL. Julia, I deffo work to live, and I hate when I'm forced to worry or think about work on my precious weekends and evenings! We do work on a rota system but I still get bored. Rosie, that would be amazing LOL, what can we do!!! Carmen, that would be ace, it's what's needed sometimes!
Anyway, on Thursday I went in, still feeling upset, and had a chat with a colleague I trust, and told her what had happened. I'd had a look through my files and stuff at the things that had gone wrong, and they were not as black and white as they had made out! I basically thought "Fuck this Shit! I'm going to stick up for myself!" My colleague is going to help me put together something, then I'm going to ask my team leader if I can talk to her, and just basically put across MY side of the events, and not take this lying down. I have to defend myself a little, even try, because at the end of the day, no one else is going to do it for me! I certainly won't go in guns blazing, or anything like that, but I was in such a state on Wednesday, there's no way I could have defended myself or challenged what she was saying. So thats what I'm going to do. I probably won't get anywhere but at least I tried, and they will know that they can't just throw things at me again and expect me to take it! I'm also going to tell her how since Wednesday, my confidence at work is shot and my self esteem is low, because it is. Its been horrible.
Anyway, enough of me and my work woes! Today we are going over to Stamford to have a wander around, and some lunch. We lived there between Aug 2008 and March 2009, and we've not been back since we moved, so it will be strange to go back! But they have lovely little shops and cafes, I do miss stepping out of my front door and being smack in the middle of a town centre brimming with unique little shops full of the sorts of things I adore! I'm still sitting here in my pyjamas, I have done my ironing this morning, which is not really a chore for me as I love doing laundry and ironing! Must be something to do with my love of clothes!!!
I hope you all have a lovely weekend, and I'll be back later tonight to check out your blogs :)
