Summer Firsts

OK, so it's not technically summer yet, but no-one's told that to Mr Sunshine! It's been glorious this weekend, and I've loved every second. Here's a list of the "first of the season" activities that took place this weekend:

First BBQ

First sun-colour on face and arms

First wear of cropped jeans

First trip to the car boot

First bike ride

First chimenea lighting

At the car boot this morning I bought three different pictures frames for £1 each, all of them a yukky orange pine colour, and have began painting them with white undercoat - they've just had their second coat. I've got a chalky finish paint in off white, that will be the top coat, and I'm hoping they will look good on the wall in a group with photographs in them, probably black and white images. One of them has a mount with it, which I've saved, but I may buy mounts for the others, as I do prefer my photo frames to have mounts, I think it looks better.

I've also been another shopping trip, just to Primark, and have bought some leggings and lovely summer tops, and some gorge new pyjamas - bottoms in blue and white french stripe,and a pink vest to go with them. Primark has some really lovely bits in at the moment, I don't buy all my stuff from there, I love shops like Joules, River Island and Hollister as well, but for a quick fashion fix you can't go wrong in Primark :)
