Next weekend will see me choosing a paint for the walls, I can't decide what colour! I planned white, but Arron said it will be too much white if all the furniture is white too, which I don't think it will, but maybe a colour would look better. I'm going for a fresh, clean colour scheme, so was thinking lot's of white mixed with muted colours, reds, blues, pinks, greens. So maybe a pale olive green for the walls?
Next job will be to pick a fabric for my blind, I really love striped fabric, so maybe a striped one. I will get my mum to help me make the blind, then on the windowsill I want plants, in either white or aluminium plant pots (I see a trip to Ikea coming on..)
Nothing else on the windowsill.
Finally, I will be tying all the loose ends together, buying/finding lot's of jars and white baskets for storage, I already have a few, and making it look as neat as I can, but also cool and "me"!! I'm planning on buying some white Ribba frames, fairly large, and putting them on the wall between the top of my expedit and the ceiling (DEFFO a trip to Ikea coming on!)
I'm hoping to be able to make myself a fabric pin board, the kind with the ribbon criss-crossed, and other cool things for my walls. I also like the idea of having a peg board, the hardware store in town sells offcuts, and I can get Arron to frame it and paint it.... white! Ooh, and I have some twine and wooden pegs I can string up somewhere to hang things from, cool photos and postcards etc.
Anyway - this here post is my version of a mood board - if I don't write these things down now, I will forget them! I really want to get this right - know what I mean? If anyone has any cool ideas they can share, or colour combination tips, please let me know. They will be gratefully received :)

so exciting isn't it, choosing things for your craft room. Looking forward to seeing your new sewing machine - please show us a picture. Ave to say I like the idea of soft olive green on the walls, you want something to inspire you while you're creating. Can't wait to see it come together.
